LARGE LIFECASTINGS are heads, torsos, maternity bellies etc. First, we discuss positioning and procedures. Then, we will prepare you in different manners depending on what you are having cast. You will then be placed in your predetermined position. We then will cover the area with alginate, which at first is the consistency of yogurt and then gels into a rubbery substance. Then a shell is made over this to support your mold. We never place straws up the nose, we just keep your nostrils clear. This process takes from 20 to 30 minutes maximum. You may then go shower as your job is done. We encourage you to bring a friend and a camera and enjoy your unique experience. Your final one of a kind, beautiful cold cast sculpture will be ready for you in 3 to 4 weeks.
